Real Fábrica de Tapices
Calle de Fuenterrabia, 2
28014 Madrid
Thursday 6 June
20.00 to midnight
The winners of the AMEC Global Communication Effectiveness Awards were announced as part of the Summit Dinner in Madrid last night. Click here to view the winners list.
Our venue has been a part of Madrid since it was founded in 1721 by King Phillip V. The King founded The Real Fabrica de Tapices (Royal Tapestry Factory) following the model of royal workshops which were established in France at the beginning of the 17th century. The Royal Tapestry Factory, was where the Vatican, Spanish royalty and Spanish Government came if they wanted to impress and commission the pieces that adorned their palaces and private residences. Goya began his career here, first as a cartoonist and then created some of his freshest images as tapestry designs.
Our exciting evening will consist of:
- Coach from the ME Madrid Hotel to the Real Fábrica de Tapices, in central Madrid.
- Welcome drinks reception in The Garden, an enchanting inner garden and an opportunity to relax and unwind with a drink. Three course dinner with wine in The Goya Hall.
- The AMEC Awards 2013 Ceremony.
- Opportunity to continue celebrating and networking at the post-awards drinks reception.
- Coach back to the ME Madrid hotel.
